If you want to check manually if there is an update available for Microsoft Office 2016, 2019 or 365, please follow these steps:
Open Microsoft Word
on your computerSelect Account > Update Options > Update Now
You will see Checking for updates appear
And if there are any new updates, you will then see Downloading Office updates appear
NOTE: Depending on your internet speed and how large the update is, this can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 30 minutesOnce the updates are downloaded, you will be prompted to Save your work before continuing, once you have closed all Microsoft Office applications, then select Continue
You will then see Applying updates
When complete, you should see an Updates were installed message,select Close
Then Microsoft Word or the Office application you were in should reopen.
Microsoft Office is now up to date.
