If you have just installed or upgraded Malwarebytes and do not have a Premium Licence, as standard you can get a 14 day trial of the Malwarebytes Premium.
You can downgrade this at any time during the 14-day trial to the free version with the following guide:
Open Malwarebytes
Select Settings on the top menu bar
Select Account Details tab and then click on Deactivate
You will then see the End Trial box where you need to click on Yes to Confirm you want to end the premium trial
NOTE: If you are prompted by a User Account Control message, click Yes to continue
You have now successfully converted Malwarebytes Premium trial to the free version and under Status is should say Always Free
