On occasion Windows updates fail and refuse to install some updates which can be caused by some update files being downloaded and become corrupt.
Firstly, it is always recommended to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter with these steps
Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot
Select Windows Update under Get up and running
Select Run the troubleshooter
If that does not fix the issue, then follow these steps to clean out the Windows Updates download folder
Close any windows dialog boxes you have open.
You have successfully cleaned your Windows Update folder.
