How to setup Avast CloudCare Passwords

Avast Passwords is a password and data manager that allows you to securely store sensitive information in one place. You can use Avast Passwords to:

  • Auto-fill web forms and logins.
  • Auto-capture passwords whenever you log in to a new site.
  • Generate secure passwords.
  • Sync data across all your devices using your Avast Account.

How to install Avast CloudCare Passwords in the Chrome browser:

  • Click on your AVAST Cloudcare icon    on your desktop, on the taskbar near your date and time or search your computer for AVAST

  • Select Privacy on the left menu and then select Passwords

    NOTE: If you do not see Passwords as an option under Privacy, do get in contact with your Avast CloudCare support agent

  • Select GET STARTED

  • Depending on what browsers you have installed, you will be prompted to activate the Avast CloudCare Passwords extension in each browser.

    If you have Google Chrome installed, select ACTIVATE IN GOOGLE CHROME to begin the setup

  • You will then be redirected to Google Chrome web store and see Avast Passwords, select Add to Chrome to install

    You will have to confirm that you want to Add extension

  • Select IMPORT LOGINS if you want to copy all your existing logins from your browsers

  • On the Avast Password Settings screen, then select IMPORT
