How to Turn Off Transparency in Windows 10

By default, Windows 10 adds a transparency effect to the various elements of the user interface including the Taskbar, Action Center and Start menu.

If you do not like this feature, you can turn off the transparency feature in a few simple steps.

  • Click Start and type color in the Type here to search box, then click on Color settings

    NOTE: If the Type here search box does not appear, just start typing and it will

  • Click on the tab to turn Transparency effects off
