If when opening MYOB AccountRight a dialog box appears with the message “Something’s gone wrong and AccountRight needs to close” and clicking the close button (X at the top right) allows you to just keep using MYOB AccountRight.

Check for an AccountRight update
Each AccountRight update usually fixes a few bugs, so it’s important to stay up to date. If you haven’t installed an update in the last few weeks, there might be one available.
Click View error details on the error to open a log file containing technical details of the error. If the option Send MYOB the details is selected on the error message, these are the details which are sent to our developers for analysis to help improve AccountRight.
The error log also contains a specific Code related to your error. Here’s an example of what it looks like:
